Ejector Driven Reactant Systems (EDRS)

Teledyne has successfully developed and demonstrated the use of ejector driven reactant systems (EDRS). EDRS are used to replace pumps for recirculating reactants through the fuel cell flow fields. Unlike pumps, EDRS have no moving parts to fail, don’t consume power to run, and have a low cost and high reliability. Teledyne is also developing novel EDRS with variable ejector geometries. These new EDRS will allow for operation across a broader range of power bands without active control
