Teledyne Energy Systems Awarded Russian Quality and Safety Certificates for Titan™ Hydrogen Generator Systems
Hunt Valley, Md. – April 11, 2008 - Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY), today announced that it received GOST-R and RTN certifications for its Titan™ hydrogen generators. GOST-R is a quality certification that ensures that products used in Russia comply with the basic safety requirements and the applicable product norms. GOST-R is required for all goods imported into Russia. RTN is a certification that authorizes the operation of equipment that may be potentially hazardous. This certification addresses the special requirements for the design, manufacture and safe operation of this type of equipment.
Teledyne Announces Management Promotions
Thousand Oaks, Calif. – October 31, 2007 – Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) today announced the appointment of Rhett C. Ross as President of Teledyne Continental Motors, Inc., (Piston Engines), effective November 5, 2007. Ross, age 43, succeeds Bryan L. Lewis. Lewis will be retiring on February 1, 2008, after a distinguished 27-year career with Teledyne companies.
Teledyne Awarded $11 Million in Hydrogen Generator Orders
Thousand Oaks, Calif. - June 5, 2007 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY) today announced that its subsidiary Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc. recently secured $11 million in orders for commercial hydrogen generator systems. The hydrogen generators, which will be used to support several electric power plant construction projects and steel processing plant expansions, are scheduled for delivery in 2007 and 2008.
Teledyne Delivers 12 Kilowatt PEM Fuel Cell Power Plant to NASA

LOS ANGELES - August 09, 2005 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) today announced that
Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc., delivered a 12 kilowatt Proton Exchange Membrane(PEM) fuel cell power
plant to NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The delivery completes Phase II of Teledyne
Energy Systems' contract awarded in 2001 to develop a more reliable, powerful, and low maintenance fuel
cell power plant for use in future NASA spacecraft.
Teledyne Receives US DOE Cooperative Agreement for Hydrogen Production

LOS ANGELES - March 30, 2004 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) today announced that
Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc., has entered into a $3.1 million cost shared Cooperative Agreement
with the US Department of Energy to conduct research and development in hydrogen production by

LOS ANGELES - May 14, 2003 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) today announced that
Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc. received an award for two contracts under NASA's Radioisotope
Power Conversion Technology Program. The awards, collectively valued at $10 million, if funded
fully over the three year multi-phase effort, will focus on the development and demonstration of
advanced thermoelectric power generators that will deliver higher efficiency and greater reliability
for use in the exploration of the solar system and its planets. First year funding, beginning in July
